Nice idea
Just need to freshen up the app to feel more iOS native. Scrolling feels weird, buttons doesn't feel modern, text size is different, hamburger menu instead of tab navigation etc

Absolut den bästa appen för Mail!
Har använt ProtonMail i många år nu, kan bara konstatera att det är den bästa appen för Mail. Det jag hoppas på är att det snart kommer ett alternativ att kunna välja mörkt tema i appen. Jag rekommenderar ProtonMail till er som ännu inte har den!

Paying user here and I love ProtonMail. However I would love a native app that doesn’t have this ”web app” feel. Also dark mode would be neat, almost all my other daily used apps have a dark mode.

Perfect... But correct one thing!
Love protonmail, and will probably within a near future upgrade to a paid account.
However, would be nice if you could fix the Swedish translation in the trash/bin folder.
Specifically, when pressing the small wedged marker in the top right corner in the aforementioned folder, you get two options:
"move to inbox" = "flytta till inkorgen" ✅
"empty folder" = "tom mapp" ❌
The correct translation for the second option should be:
"töm mapp".
Anyway, keep up the good work!

Great for privacy but has issues
Maybe best service regarding privacy, but typing starts to severely lag when writing emails longer than ~200 words.
That shouldn’t be an issue and especially not when using an iPhone 7.

Seriously unreliable
Seriously unreliable; I use this for all my important emails and I really regret it. The app will often register that there is a new message but all the trying in the world will not open it.
I reset my phone all the time to see the new message, sometimes this works but normally I have to go to my other workstation to open and read it. Then I can read it on my iPhone.
Also sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes to fully send a message.
Some serious problems here.

Horrible UI
The service is great, but this app is mediocre at best. The iPad app looks awful and hides menu items behind unnecessary swipes, instead showing the mailbox items at *the full width* of the screen which is completely ridiculous. Password managers aren’t supported, and the UI goes haywire when any drag and drop is attempted.
The developers need to (1) hunt down all the UI bugs, of which there are plenty, and (2) try using their own iPad app on an actual iPad.

Top Gear for your privacy
Great service, functionality and after the honest and transparent email they sent this week, I support them even more.
If you are still using free-mail, you need to investigate why you need this.

Logout at each update
The application, as well as mail sevice is alright...if you now manage to retain yourself of uninstalling it due to constant login requests. Each time the application is updated or for any other reason, one must login again, and again...and again. Wouldn’t it be more pleasant for us users to skip logging in each time the application is opened?

I like Protonmail a lot and what it stands for. Thanks! :)
I do however wish that some details were fixed here and there - I think I would like your service and app even more if you would focus more on the GUI and UX. For example, when I get one new email and open the iOS app it displays the new email twice for a second while updating the inbox - this is ugly and always happens. I would also really like a light theme where emails that are unread are darker and read emails lighter (opposite of now).
Keep on keeping on Protonmail! I’m enjoying my subscription.

Secure replacement to Gmail
A lot of exciting things in the works, that come out soon. If you are willing to pay upfront for a mail service this is a good pick. Gmail is free upfront, although they monitor your emails to be able to distract and direct your attention later.
