Awesome app sadly got bad

I have used Mimi for a long time. I have loved the app. It has helped me immensely as I have an “ear condition” which needs monitoring of my hearing. And so I have used it every day to keep track of my hearing.

With the latest update it sadly became almost useless to me. It is no longer CE-certified and can no longer show you audiograms. This was “life saving” for me, to keep track of any changes.

The new layout and results after the update is so much worse. This app has gone from a reliable, awesome app to something that feels like a ”graphically polished” gimmick.

Loved it. Now not so much. So sad that they went from an app that made all the difference for my hearing to something not usable/reliable in that aspect.

Just wish they update it again sometime, and bring back this features and make it CE-certified again.

Tests only one ear

The sound came from the right ear phone for both ”right and left”, so I tested the right ear twice but with different results..

Only for people with great hearing

You have to hold & release a button „I can hear the beep“ as the sound shifts thorough different frequencies. If you don’t hear the sound, the app will make you skip that ear.

Nice app

I’m looking for an app that our patients can download and do the screening test at home. Then mailing in the results OR printout for us to evaluate . Especially important these corona days for testing a number of individuals at a distance.

An easy to use app, with easy navigation makes this app clearly useful.

The need for registration may turn some people off though

Insanely awesome app

I work as a music producer and this is a killer good app for me and my fellow producers and others who find listening environment important. A big difference in the sound after correction. Which you also could make a Vst/Au Eq-app where eq results could be exported. I’m really impressed and it will make my mixes so much better :-)

Does not work at all for me

Tried it twice now but every time it fails to analyze the data. Should be noted that I'm deaf on one ear and that could be the case?

Interesting and useful

In general quite good. However there are some problems with the app getting stuck. This should be corrected in software but otherwise the app is quite impressive. Mainly because of this problem I could only get four stars.
