Don't need all the extras requiring me to register

All I want is to connect to the extender I have as is suggested in the manual over usong a browser. But you need to register to have all these fancy features I don't care for or require.

I bought your product, you don't need my data.

The wifi traffic counter information is gone

It was a good feature, alowing to roughly estimate when the GB limit from the subscription will be reached and also estimate what online activities take most data.

Unresponsive and Slow

This app needs a massive overhaul. It is very slow to respond, scrolling adding options etc. It also is very legacy feeling. It can not adjust to horizontal orientation when on a tablet. There is no clear manual or instructions on what the features do or how to adjust them. Firmware updates often need to be done manually - maybe not for the average user. So far, it does not work on iPhone, only managed to get it to work on tablet. This really limits its usefulness. TPLink pushes for an online account - you can bypass this. The depth of options are good, just the usage is very poor and it doesn’t appear to work on all devices. Major upgrade needed.

It’s not intuitive how to install wifi extender RE450. The installation guide doesn’t help.

Missing important security features

The app and router work well together and is easy to use and set up. Unfortunately they miss two factor authentication (TFA/2FA) which is a key security feature on a modern router.

Too simple app.

The interface is ok for setup but lacks in depth options. It’s not possible to fine tune your network. Also lack of information about units apart from model name and number. Would be nice to see version and firmware numbers. Also not very intuitive touch check connection.

Har/haft flera typ-link produkter.

Ångrar men gruvligt att jag betalat pengar för nått som är så dåligt. Många omstarter dålig täckning hänger sig, klarar inte 2,4 och 5ghz på ett bra sätt.

Superenkelt att komma igång!

Lätt och intuitiv app. Det går att administrera det mest vanliga. Har inte tittat på webgränssnittet, men ser ingen anledning i nuläget. Ser inte att det går att konfa RJ portarna i appen, kanske inte går på webben heller. Beror väl framför allt på vilken produkt man har. Har inte testat att köra telnet, men som sagt, superenkel och tydlig.

Completely useless!

First it demands you to create an account. For setting up the device you’ve bought.

Then it had trouble finding my device and when it finally figured that out it cannot connect to my device, no matter what I do. So I cannot configure my range extender.

Maybe I just had bad luck with mine but I would really look in to other brands.

Even tho my router are an cloud device it says when i leave my WiFi that it’s offline. So I can’t access my router from anywhere. U need to fix that problem..

“... to the log in and registration process”, such as: you can no longer log in to your own router in the app without giving away your email!

Tells a lot about how much this company cares about your privacy on the network.

(Oh by the way even if setting the https flag on the router, the log in is not via encrypted http...)

With newer versions of Archer C9 (v.5 and up) the app fails to show connected devices on Wi-Fi an wire. This makes all the tether functionality unusable and leaves the app useless.

Trådlös tv från telia

Använder TP-links lösning för trådlös tv från Telia. Modell RE200 fungerar alldeles utmärkt för detta. Lätt att installera enheten.

Unable to connect Archer C3200

When I first installed my Archer C3200 end of 2017 this app connected ok. Since then the app has been updated and support for this router is broken.

Går ej att ansluta till routern. Säger att jag kanske är på gästnätverk. Har en Archer C3200. Det slutade fungera efter någon uppdatering.

What a joke

Works one time after you've installed the app. Next time i'll get an error saying it cant login and that om possible connected to a guest network. The app becomes useless.

Fungerar OK. Funkar bra med routern men tappar kontakten med range extendern ofta trots att den är kopplad till flera enheter. Väldigt många enheter dyker dessutom upp som ”Unknown” eller bara ”*” vilket kan vara irriterande. Den är dessutom begränsande och saknar många funktioner som finns på vanliga konfigurationssidan.

Almost impossible to login

I am almost always unable to login. I get the message that I may be connected to a guest network but I am not. I see the router on the start page but it won’t login. It’s been like this for a long time.

Fungerar inte

Fungerar bara en kort stund efter att man startat om routern (Archer 3200). Sedan tappar den kontakten och fungerar inte trots att allt annat på mobilen och andra enheter som är uppkopplade mot routern fungerar som det ska.

Doesn't work anymore

Never really managed to use it because of bugs and glitches. Now it's not workong at all, can't login on my Archer 3200
