Share options very limited
You can only share to SoundCloud or email your recorded files. Would be great if you could export to AudioCopy and various cloud services. The processing options (reverb etc.) are ok.

The HandyRecorder app allows you to record high-quality audio with your iOS device. Use it with a ZOOM iQ series mic, which are designed to capture audio of the best quality with iOS devices, and record using the high-fidelity linear PCM and space-saving AAC formats. This app includes normalize and divide functions that can be used on recorded files. In addition, it has compressor, EQ and reverb effects. Moreover, you can directly upload your recordings from Handy Recorder to the iCloud and SoundCloud file-sharing site, allowing you to bring your creations to the world over the Internet.

■ Stereo linear PCM and AAC recording
-You can record files using either high-quality linear PCM format or AAC format at a bit rate of 64, 128 or 160 kbps.
-The AUTO REC function can be used to start and stop recording automatically in response to the input signal level.
■ Works like a hardware recorder
-The operation screen was designed to simulate a ZOOM hardware Handy Recorder, so this app is as easy to operate as these products.

-The app includes a function that allows you to upload your recordings directly to the SoundCloud audio-sharing site. You can name your recordings and make sharing settings in the Handy Recorder app.

-By using the iQ5/iQ7 in MS recording mode, you can adjust the stereo width.
-Select from three iQ5's AUTO GAIN settings (CONCERT, SOLO, MEETING) according to the application.*
-Use the DIRECT MONITOR function to monitor the input signal through the headphones jack on the iQ series without latency
-The left and right channels of the iQ series input signal can be reversed.*
*These setting are saved in the iQ series mic itself and will be applied when using it with other apps.

Not recording anything
Can not record with this app although the mic (iq7) works with voicememo and camera apps.

Needs local sharing!
The problem with saving samples is that you are limited to 25 megabytes of size due to the limitations of sending emails... Please make it possible to find a root folder that you can access from your pc

Missing options
The Zoom iq 6 is a great microphone. The app is ok, but I miss options for renaming files and upload to Dropbox and using SFTP. Only Soundcloud and mail(!) is a disappointment. A professinall microphone needs a professinall app. Please.

Renaming
This app together With The mic is easier to use for quick and simple recordings than most dedicated recorders such as, for instance H2n or H4 thanks to the bigger display of the phone.
One big miss is the absence of the possibility to rename the recordings save in the iOS device.
If not for the above it would have been five stars.
Pls Zoom add this feature :)
Another feature that is missing is that the app does not let one playback the recordings from the phone via Bluetooth to an Bluetooth device. It seams that the app does not recognise the iOS Bluetooth like all the other music apps I have got ...
Neither is it possible to playback through my iPhone enabled car stereo while the iPhone connected with USB lead.
And I miss the feature to be able to record in the mp3 format..
