Ett brynstål i tiden

Jag blir sällan imponerad. Men Quora är tveklöst den kommunikationsapp som ger bäst utrymme att vässa mina egna och andras argument. Med några få undantag, som anmälts och blivit klippta, är dynamiken och spänsten god i såväl innehåll som intellektuella reflektioner. Har inte sett buggar eller löften som inte infriats. Jag ser Q som ett brynstål på den översta hyllan i den mest välsorterade affären. Jag lär mig något i varje inlägg - också av de som har helt andra utgångspunkter. Och det är fint på riktigt

Most of the app works just as you would expect. Not astonishing, not disappointing. OK, not great.

But it can’t do landscape format, phone held horizontally.

I do not want an app for every website

I only downloaded this app because after viewing a few pages on the web, it forces you to use the app. Fix the website, stop forcing me to use an app. This is so annoying. Junk.

I hate the fact that quora claims that the questions no longer belong to the writer after the grace period is over. I had for a long time ago put a question that didn’t even get answered and that question makes me look stupid now. Please change this feature on Quora, I beg you!

Quora used to be great, but they are now racing to the bottom as fast as they can. They seem to have decided to value quantity (of questions, of answers) at all costs. To that end, they have removed numerous features which had worked to promote quality in answers, and they have implemented policies which incentivize loads of poorly written, often repetitive questions. They used to moderate well, but moderation now seems limited to haphazard bots which flag useful content and allow grossly offensive content to remain untouched. It's a mess.

Interesting but flawed

You’ll find a lot of informative and interesting posts on Quora - and a lot of trolls. Since the moderation process is flawed, ordinary users have to plough through a lot of rubbish in order to find the pearls.

Forced to download, got sad and removed it in 15 minutes.

Gee, thanks a lot Quora. I really enjoyed browsing it with Safari in my iPad... until I was no longer allowed to do it anymore. I had two options, quit reading or download this useless horrible app that takes forever loading and then decides to jump from one topic to another all on its own, while I myself just want finish what article I was reading.... nope, this is not for me. Maybe I will give another go on reading Quora on Safari again sometimes (knowing that after a few minutes I will not be able to proceed without downloading this horrible app) but I will never again dowload this trash on my iOS. It was not a fun experience at all.

Don’t use the app if you use Quora in more than three languages

The app can’t switch between more than three languages. Notifications about stuff that happens in the other languages keep coming in, but the app won’t allow you to switch and see what they’re about. It’s frustrating.

Great site. Idiot app.

I downloaded this in the Swedish AppStore and the welcome/setup screen is in German! No way to change the language and WTF!? Why isn’t it in English by default?.. I’m sorry, but your app is ridiculously annoying verrrry early on and my best guess is that you lose upwards of 80-90% of your potential users directly after downloading is complete.

- Not counting Germans and German speakers in Sweden obviously...... Fix it!
