Duo Mobile works with Duo Security's two-factor authentication service to make logins more secure. The application generates passcodes for login and can receive push notifications for easy, one-tap authentication on your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch.
Additionally, you can use Duo Mobile to manage two-factor authentication for other application and web services that make use of passcodes.
Note: For Duo accounts, Duo Mobile needs to be activated and linked to your account before it will work. You will receive an activation link as part of Duo's enrollment process. You may add third-party accounts at any time.

Lost my Snapchat
Due to this app I will never again be able to access my Snapchat account with memories from the past 4 years :) my old phone is broken and my snap got hakked so I changed password and can’t acess it because I need a code that can only be accessed from my old phone...

Lacks basic features
Lacks global Face ID / Touch ID / PIN app protection(!)
“Security checkup” is nowhere to be found.
Good backup mechanism, well documented.

Can’t change UI language, the support sucks!
There is a bug affecting users with Swedish iOS. The Duo app defaults to French, and there is no option to change language within the app. Tried calling and mailing support, but they refuse to help since I have a free (non-paid) account.

Works great with Apple Watch
Duo has really good 2FA support for Apple Watch, which makes it my primary choice!
