The worst dictionary
This app is infested with wrong defination of words to push their private politcal believes. If are for freedom of thought and speech and you want an independent Dictionary you should stay away from this app. It also promotes violence against women in their definition and examples.

Useless after update
Notice of the collection of data for improved user experience impedes usage of the app (ironicly) due to the box extending outside of the screen of my iphone 5, making it impossible to click ok for it to go away and allowing me to use the app.

Please fix!
The only way to search things is through your voice. This requires WiFi for the Apple Watch. If you could also allow you to search by writing, I would consider buying the full version app for 40kr which is offline. Otherwise good app but this feature is crucial!

Excellent but not flawless
As a language tool this is highly advanced and works well for academic studies.
5 stars for utility
The interface is tricky and the favorites list can’t be scrolled on my 6s :-( I hope this is a bug they’ll fix quickly.

Unreliable
Translation no longer available. Upgrade doesn't upgrade - still have ads and app claims I didn't upgrade but bebited my account. If an app seems too good to be true - it is, don't be fooled! Theory isn't a virtue in apps, only functionality!

Best dictionaryapp ever!
Have only been let down a few times by this app and that when either looking for a word really rarely used or a word that's quite old. I love that you get concise explanations, the word put into context, to hear the word out loud, the origin of the word and so much more, and I use the free version. So, if you need a dictionary or a thesaurusapp - pick this one!

Många ord, men jag valde att betala för Shorter Oxford dictionary ändå, eftersom jag tänkte att den nog är lite vassare, och att det gärna får kosta två hundra om det man får är större precision. Nu är jag inte lika säker längre. Nästan alla ord som finns med i Shorter Oxford finns med i den här, och fler därtill. Exempelmeningarna (kostar ett par tior) är många, men saknar upphovsman. Går det bra utan är de nästan bättre. Och vilken prisskillnad.
Ändå vill jag ha båda, språknörd som jag är.

Just as it should be
This app is wonderful in its simplicity. On the other hand, it isn't a simple app, it is very diverse with all its features but it's built in such a intuitional way it feels simple. And also, it just works!

A great tool to learn new words
Learn new words and how to pronounce them. If your spelling is failung you, a new tool allows you to speak the word, and Dictionary will find it.
Other interesting concepts that keeps the mind busy: word of the day, trivia.

Dropping
Reliable and with a fair amount of words (in fact, it includes words I have not seen in printed high-standard dictionaries). Buying add-on content costs a bit, but for me it has been worth it, up to now, when parts of the adds-on seem to be missing, incomplete or not accessible for no obvious reason, even many words are now "without definition". To boot: Even though I've bought Remove Ads I still get annoyed by the developers' own ads. Hey, I paid to get rid of that, didn't I? This and some other backwards "progress" lately lower my rating from 5 to 4. The interface has become less attractive during the last updates, but not that much that it motivates the drop of another star in my rating–yet. One thing continues to disturb me: It gives the American English variants of words as the norm and mentions the British English ones as some exception. I for one think that the British English is the "real" English, the definitive one, whilst American English is merely a simplified dialect, left alone that it is spoken and written by many people; those whose opinion is that it is too hard to spell "colour". Some other dictionaries have an option to choose the type of English presented. Something for this one, too?
