As the ideal travelling companion, the personal Travel Assistant shows you all the important information about your flight in compact form on one page. You will also receive direct notification of any information updates, such as boarding gate changes, via push message.

The Lufthansa app now also makes all the information relevant to your flight available as a Siri shortcut, for example your flight status, the time remaining until boarding and your boarding pass.

You can request arrival and departure information on all direct Lufthansa flights and have updated information on the status of your flight sent directly to your smartphone via a push message – simply activate “Local information” in your message settings.

Impossible to call their costumer service, but the app does not help either. Complicated and does not work. Tried to rebook a flight, it never worked. Why would I want this app?

Worst travel app
I have used travel apps from different airlines and I have to say not only this is the worst app but the customer service of Lufthansa India is super poor.
I'm unable to add my booking
I am unable to pay using my debit card
The app showed me a new timing for my flight and when I called the customer service they told me that they could not confirm that the app was right or wrong. They had absolutely no clue if the flight time was changed or not, not even about 4 hours before the actual departure. Pathetic.

Terrible app!
1. In order to operate this app one needs to create an account which is impossible due to “internal server error”.
2. Terrible UI/UX. Unclear and confusing.
3. Remember data doesn’t work. So one has to type in info each time.

Obeskrivligt dålig service och app!
Hade vår sista kväll i Orlando och skulle checja in 23 timmar innan på flyg för att familjen skulle få sitta ihop över Atlanten flygning vilket ej var möjligt på flygresan dit.. Incheckning via app fungerade inte alls och inte möjlighet att välja sittplats via app. Förstörde dock totalt vår sista kväll i Orlando då vi höll på med detta i timmar utan att lyckad. Total katastrof Lufthansa!

Just want to keep track of journey and status etc on my one off bookings.. And it’s impossible without an account. There is absolutely no reason for having me to create one for that.

Doesn’t do it’s job
Tried to book a flight, went through all the steps, entered my CC number and nothing happened, apart from a notification of having to change my cookie settings. So the app doesn’t work for me, 1 star for nothing.

I used the app before and it was working fine but recently, I’m not able to search for flights as guest and every time I try to connect with my password it does not work. I changed my password around 7 times but the problem is same. Please check what is wrong

Inflight snack
Worst ever served snack on Economy flights got to opo July/Aug in more than 60 flights during more than 40 years. A small cookie? No coffee?? And no information sent to passengers beforehand ???And evidently not only for a few days???? Think that you underestimate the importance of a reasonable snack/drink for your passengers. Difficult situation for your in-flight staff. Did not choose Lufthansa on last flights in Europe this month!

Wrong flightinfo
The app shows wrong flightinfo. My flight was delayed - this info was not in the app. My boardingpass also had 2 different Gates. None of them was correct. My business partner had a third displayed in his app. Also not correct.

Slow and full of glitches
I had to do the “create-new-profile” procedure three times before being able to register myself. Once loading my booking it took so long time my initial assumption was that something was wrong, so I restarted the app several times before realising I have to wait because it is REALLY slow to fetch the booking. A lot to work on for the Lufthansa IT team.

Can be better, buggy application
I used it to view my trip details. But for example when I tried to do check-in the app only checks-in me, not the whole family. So I had to make check-in via Lufthansa web-site- then I could select all in the same booking. Also another bug is discovered- inside the bookings the button ”Check flight status” constantly returns technical error.

Worst Airline App
1. Retrieval of Data takes forever, every time.
2. Travel document data is not saved in app
3. Check-in option does not work properly-lf more than one passenger are booked on reference, it is still only possible to check in the main passenger.
4. Booking data is also not saved in app, but needs to be retrieved every time (see 1.)
5. If the check in is finally completed, adding the boarding passes to the app does not work.
This is just the worst annoyances.

Great airline, truly awful app
I really like Lufthansa as an airline. Five stars. The app however does its best to undercut all the good work done by Lufthansa’s traveler facing team. Wonky, unintuitive, full of unexpected cup-de-sacs (login, login again, you are already logged in, log in again, you don’t have a reservation, your reservation can not be accessed, ...). A mess. Avoid the app if you have other ticketing alternatives. Watch implementation (once logged in and awaiting boarding) is however very nice. Hence the star.

Slow and old fashioned.
Slow and poor functionality, app feels like it’s from the 90s. Hard to check In if you are more then one person. LH always gets issues reading in status from for ex. Eurobonus. It ready youre membership But not status.

Forces you to create an account, useless!!!!
Really really sucks, no way to check in as in previous versions without creating an account! This is NOT ok and how other airline apps work. I want to add my booking number and get a mobile boarding pass into my iphone but I will NOT register with you. I am a gold card holder with star alliance but not registred with LH and want to remain that way. Dont blame gdpr as multiple other european airlines does not force you to register. I will AVOID lufhansa because iphone check in just became a major hazzle!!!!!!!

Not user friendly
It has to be easier to use is very complicated and confusing and is super slow between screens it takes more than 10 sec and that’s a lot. Please reconsider removing unnecessary data to make it quicker. Other than that is an average App that needs improvement. Thanks.

German Stupidity
As for the password rules Lufthansa doesn’t deny they love German bureaucracy! Furthermore no option to choose currency!!! I want to see prices without have to call my bank and ask how much X currency is in Y currency. Lufthansa might be a good airline, but hey... if I fly from airport X it doesn’t mean I’m a citizen in the X country and use the X currency!!! Thumbs down Lufthansa!!!

Unnecessarily cumbersome
Requires login, and if login details are forgotten it is just too much of a hassle to get back in. The list of rules for a password for an airline website should not be of the length of a novel, there should of course be an option of checking in without an account, etc.

Viel zu umständlich. Man kommt nicht sofort an seine Buchungen, das Laden von, tja, eigentlich egal was dauert immer viel zu lange. Man muss viel zu oft nochmal und nochmal und nochmal irgendwas klicken...
Die Apps von Eurowings, Norwegian, SAS und vor allem British Airways sind um Welten besser, schneller, einfacher und übersichtlicher.

Can’t use without account
Totally sucks that you can’t use the app without creating a Lufthansa-account.
It’s not mandatory with other flight companies’ apps.
If it’s a bug you should fix it.
Unacceptable if it’s not a mistake somehow...
