The new EU privacy laws were announced two years ago. Meaning Instapaper have had two years to make their service work with the new laws before the laws became active. They choose not to... instead they shut down the service for whole of EU. Locking up people’s saved content.

Älskar denna appen. Ogillar att läsa intressanta artiklar i webbläsaren, slutar alltid med att man får 100 flikar. Ogillar ännu mer att läsa artiklar via Facebook eller Twitter, för då måste man läsa den på momangen om man inte vill förlora den

Simply great!
I used to use Readability for a long time and liked it a lot. But I grew tired of the lack of updates during the last year - especially as I found the parsing of articles to be lacking - and decided to try Instapaper instead. Turns out, that was a pretty great decision! Instapaper simply beats Readability in every way - even the web interface is nicer. 👍 to Instapaper!

Increasingly buggy
This app has become increasingly buggy over the years. Tilt-Scrolling has not worked for me in ages. Now the screen mode won't stick. I will set it to the dark theme and it will randomly jump back to the default white theme. Sloppy!!

Gets me reading so much more. I just send articles I find interesting to my account and read them later. It's somehow easier, for me anyway, to relax and take it in when it's in Instapaper - kinda like a do not disturb sign...

Jag har ett account och kan logga in på datorn men inte på appen från min ipad.
När jag ska logga in så står det att det redan finns en användare, men det är inte rätt lösenord. Jag har provat allt, men det går bara inte att logga in från min ipad. Någon som vet varför och vad jag kan göra?

Copies the wrong text
I've not got this to work on any of the sites that I currently read, which are Swedish tech sites (like IDG.se). It just keeps on copying the wrong part of the page (like the "short facts"-column), and some times I end up with JavaScript code snippets in my instapaper.. I like the design and the idea, but I regret spending cash on it since I can't use it for anything.

I was recently faced with a few weeks without Internet and I thought it pretty clever of me when I started to archive websites on my MacBook. Then I got an iPad for my birthday. Then I found this app. It's awesome. Beats any of my elaborate attempts at being clever any time!

Crap developer
*The developer ignores emails about bugs.
*The developer doesn't fix bugs (two of them reported over a month ago).
*The developer release new versions without even doing some basic testing.
These bugs were released with 4.2, making the app frustrating to use. The app almost deserves 1/5.
-Randomly switches from scrolling to fast pagination.
-Scrolling locks, nothing happens for 3-4 scroll attempts (no other app has scroll problems). Then a popup shows up asking if I wanna switch to tilt scrolling. Clicking ok doesn't switch.

Instapaper is good for reading texts, cool, simple background,
with either scrolling or pagination (like in a paperbook),
you can save the texts in a folder or share them via email.
There are social media links,
you can set the font, line height, width …
then you can save your "Read Later Pages" on the Instapaper webserver,
and with a little (Read Later) booklet on Safari, you can save any page for later reading on your iPad,
syncing automatically.
This is quite something, isn't it?

Denna app är guldvärd, otroligt väl utvecklad. Stöd för att lägga till artiklar från så många olika sätt, tonvis med användbara funktioner och det faktum att jag använt denna i över ett halvår och aldrig ens haft minsta lilla strul är anledning nog till varför jag gladeligen pröjsar för prenumerationen som stöd för denna utvecklare!

Instapaper is the original "Read it later" app and still the best designed. It is made for devoted readers with great extra features but without bloated stuff. If You understand design this is the app You chose!

Brilliant stuff
This app looks and works beautifully. The readability is just so much better than what most websites manage. The service us very dependable too. Using the "read later" bookmarklet has become a part of my daily routine and I don't think that'll change in the foreseeable future.

After the update has re-downloaded the articles all my folders are empty and every article is in a big heap under "read later". Yeah, thanks a lot.

Jag skriver aldrig recensioner. Nu gör jag ett undantag. Varför? Denna app är så freakin' awesume så den botde vara installerad från start på alla iPhone's.
Jag gillar framför allt att man i Twitter kan skicka en artikel till Instapaper och sen läsa den offline (tex på bussen).

Excellent!
This app is nothing short of amazingly useful. It fits in my everyday routine like a glove. I usually skim through my RSS in the morning and now I simply mark interesting reads to read later, sync up the iPhone with this adorable app and I am all set to read all the interesting stuff in more detail on the commute home.
Interface is splendid, easy to grasp and efficient. Keep this app developing dude.
