Coffee is a personal drink and we know a good cup when we find it. Sometimes recreating that perfect cup is hard – unless you record everything about it, ready for next time. Coffee Book helps you do that and much more.
With Coffee Book, you'll store all kinds of important information about your coffee but also how it came into being, too. The coffee you used, the brewing method, and even the equipment can change how a cup tastes. Coffee Book helps you log and track it all.
Need to tweak a cup? With Coffee Book, learning about your coffee tastes has never been easier. You'll log changes as you go, noting what they mean to you and your tastebuds. All of this information will be safe and sound in the cloud so you'll never have to start again!

- Syncing with Apple Health – your caffeine intake will never be a mystery again.
- Support for all the best brewing methods including Aeropress, Chemex, Cold Brew, and more.
- A space for photos for those extra special cups.

The one that tastes chocolatey, with a hint of blueberry.
The first update of 2022 for Coffee Book brings tasting notes, a brew timer, and the first Chemex brew guide. I’d love to hear your feedback and feature suggestions, so please head to the email provided in the app to get in touch.
The new stuff:
- You can now add tasting notes to your coffees.
- You can now add tasting notes to each brew.
- The recipes in the learn tab now have a coffee timer to help you through your brew. This timer is likely to evolve over time, so please keep suggestions coming.
- Brews can now have their times edited.
- You can now add a photo of your brewer or grinder.
- The brew tab will now only show your most recent 5 at the top, to make the screen more usable.
- Certain elements of the app have been made a little bigger throughout, so it’s easier to read.
- When you select a coffee you’ll now see a small set of stats, including your average ratings, total brews, and most used brew type.
- There’s some nice (optional) onboarding notifications to help you through your first week.
- The coffee page now shows favourites, and has better filter and sorting options.
- A Chemex brew guide has been added.
- When you select a brewer in the data tab, you’ll now get a summary screen with your best brews and some stats.
- It’s easier to find brew guides, as they’re now part of the home page and the brew page.
- The app will now track the brew guide you used alongside each brew, so later you can track your favourites.
The bug fixes:
- The icons on the brew tab will no longer dissapear if you have a bunch of the same one.
- Accessibility text has been fixed on the brew view.
- Coffee's are now always sorted the same way.
- You can now add a brewer directly from the brewer page again, instead of having to do it during your brew flow.
- The ratio will now show again as soon as fields are completed.
- The date will now be correctly set for a new brew.
