The free WebID app for quick and secure online identifications and digital signatures! Identify using WebID Video Ident or the newly available WebID AI Ident! After completing the video identification, you can also sign contracts using our app – for instance for opening a bank account, loan applications, online shopping, activating SIM cards, administration services and many more.
For the identification with Video Ident our friendly and specially trained agents will conduct a video call with you. Typically, this call will take only a few short minutes. For the call, all you need is a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi recommended), a valid identification document and the case number of your contractual partner. Then simply follow the instructions of our agents. The questions asked are provided to the agents and serve the purpose of keeping you safe and preventing fraud.
You can sign your contract digitally right afterwards. All you need to do is read your contract and accept the terms and conditions. Subsequently, you will receive a TAN on your mobile phone. By entering this number, the contract is signed by you – just as legally valid and binding, as if you had signed it by hand.
The quick identification using AI Ident can be completed automatically. During the process you take photos of your ID card and of your face. Just follow the instructions in the app.
