Merge this app with the new one. I have a set of in-ear Momentum TW2's and a set of over-ear Momentum TW4's, meaning I have to use two apps to control my two headphones from the same manufacturer...

Latest update took my Ambeo to the next level.
Before I felt the settings lacking when it came to controlling my Ambeo Max soundbar but with the last update, multiple settings for channels and the voice enhancement was truly a night/day difference. Greatly appreciated!!

After updating to latest firmware my momentum 4 cant connect to bluetooth…i can listen via usb-c cable but the smart control app don’t recognize the device. So ni ability to factory reset as that seems to require bluetooth connection to app???????

The sound zones only work when app is open. Then its usles for me. Beter to remove it to keep it simple. If compensation for hearing impairment to the reley good sound personalation would be perfect.

Unable to connect headphones due to latest app update
Contacted Sennheiser after I’m no longer able to connect my headphones to any device due to bugs in the latest update of the app. Previously headphones could be connected via Bluetooth without having the app. And it has worked well for years. That’s no longer the case. The app is a requirement which limit the type of device one is able to connect to, but again, the app doesn’t work so currently you can’t connect to any device at all. Two weeks has passed and I haven’t heard back from them. Extremely bad customer service and the app isn’t great to begin with.

Firmware problem MWT3
There is huge wind distortion problem with the MWT 3 firmware v2.12.33 that need to be addressed and resolved since release!
When in light wind weather condition the earbuds sounds awful and let in too much wind sound that make listening impossible unless anti wind is enabled which make the anc worthless and let it in all kind of sounds:/

You can disable all different areas in the “discover area”. Doing so makes that menu area completely useless. So why not add an option to hide it all together?

Cerater an account and are logged in in the app Smart Control , but still I can’t find the equalizer or able to fine tune the sound.

The only consistency is the errors
I have had my momentum 4 headphones for a year now and using them with one device is no problem. Using them with 2 devices is a pain and any more than that and you wish you’d be able to throw the headphones into there lava at Mount Doom.
Want to join a teams meeting? You better disconnect from all other devices or you will experience no sound. Oh btw you can’t disconnect because your smart control app is not connected so now you have to restart the headphones anyway and enter pairing mode.
Want to be connected to the laptop but play music from your phone? Too bad. The laptop is prioritized even though it isn’t playing any sound.
Every update there are new problems and this is the last pair of headphones I buy from this company.

And by the way, why does telephone call being ended when switching from iPhone speaker to headphones? Always those annoying things going on while using sennheiser software.

On head detection disables touch pad
Using the smart control app and momentum 4.
If you enable on-head detection, the touchpad only lets you pause/resume music.
You cannot double tap to enable / disable anc when active.
Disable on head detection and you can double tap or pinch to control anc.

Worthless
Sennheiser has among the best audio quality on the commercial market. But the problem is - what you got in the audio departement - just as much you lack in the software departement. Connection issues, app looks like a Wordpress blog from 2009 and equalizer that sucks.

Great and bad
Some great features but so much problem with the bluetooth conection, even if connected the app cant find the headphones. Have Mom 3 wireless and mom tw 2. A bit better with the tw 2. And even worse with the app on ipad. Also think an update of firmwire i did on my mom 3 like second week I had the messed somethin up with the inernal microphone so only can use ANC mode ANti pressure. Two other and transparent makes the left one too wobble of to much bass. (Unbalance )

IOS is well beyond v. 14 now, so it’s about time you made it possible to use the app without it crashing every five seconds. The phones are great, though, and so is the reputation of Sennheiser phones and microphones. How come that you can’t make a simple control app work with contemporary operating systems?

Lacking som features
The app is ok and easy to use but quite limited compared to other apps like Jabras. A more detailed EQ would have been nice, and maybe the ability to configure the touch controls for phone calls like turning the mic off or parking a call.

Useless EQ
I find my Momentum wireless 3 very uneven in quality - bought 3 pairs and all of them had different sound signature. One was “boomy”, one had unpleasant sharpness in high frequencies. The last one had problem with stereo imaging (right channel louder).
With manufacturing and quality problems like that it is necessary that manufacturer provide serious eq to combat these shortcomings.
No need to say that for the price (4600:-SEK) you do expect much better quality control, especially when Sennheiser aims for premium market with these headphones (and app) and targeting the sound enthusiasts.
