OK for one iPhone.
For most users the functionality will be adequate. A Apple Watch app would be great. The iPad function is lacking in so far as that it can’t operate in landscape mode. The app definitely contains all the functions it should for the iPhone, in order to work. I’m however having some qualms though, Especially hoping across devises without needing to force forget devices and getting the SE-headphone duplicates. Say I’m connected on Mac and iphone and wants to connect my iPad and discard my phone. To achieve this process i need to connect iPad on the phone to disconnect the mac. Then go to the iPad app and connect the mac to disconnect my phone. But also, as far as i know, i couldn’t isolate my Apple Watch and computer, two devices that currently don’t have any app. The functionality would be greatly improved if the app on whatever device are securely connected, could assign which devices are active at any time. So that i could, for an example, observe and assign connections from the iphone even if the iphone isn’t currently paired and playing. The app and the headphones works decently standalone, but not by any margin, good. This is in some ways only slightly better than connecting with a cable, mainly because with the cable constraint is overt. Here constraints become implicit and more like bugs. Without this functionality the user isn’t “emancipated” by the tech.
