Good Covers

It is fabulous to have Cher singing ABBA songs. Her voice is very emotional, strong and unique. Gimme Gimme Gimme (A man after midnight) the first song she released from the album is however the clubbiest song on it. I just think it would have been more exciting if Cher and the producer Mark Taylor would have turned the songs a little bit more upbeat and away from the original versions. Highlights on the album except Gimme Gimme Gimme (a man after midnight) are The Winner Takes it all, Waterloo and Dancing Queen. Well to be honest all the album is great, but I just feel anything just great with an album by Cher could have become so much over the top bigger and greater. Let us hope for great remixes of the songs! Why not a remix album later on?
